Popplet

Popplet is a great tool for the iPad and web. Popplet is used to capture and organize your ideas. I think Popplet is a great way to help students think and learn visually. Students are able to capture facts, thoughts and images and create relationships between them.

It makes it a lot easier for the students to understand and remember information.  It allows you to capture ideas and organize them in a multitude of ways. It’s a great tool for vocabulary building. Popplet would be beneficial for English, Grammar, Reading, and any other subject taught. The results are usually immediate and remarkable. Popplet is versatile and has applications over a broad range of subjects and classroom activities.

I chose blogs, video productions, webquests, and podcasts as my four subtopics. Each subtopic has two specific examples on how I would use them in my classroom. I feel like they would all be beneficial in providing me with great ways to reinforce full classroom participation.
